Voice mail allows callers to leave you a personal, secure message when you are unavailable and allows you to access and manage your messages from any phone, anywhere, anytime.
Initialize your voice mailbox
The first time you call into the voice mail system, you will be asked to set up your mailbox. Detailed voice instructions will guide you through each of these steps. Don't worry if you miss hearing an instruction -- each one will be repeated.
Dial 5555 to access the voice mail system.
Enter your 4-digit extension and press # to enter your mailbox.
Enter your initial password and press #
The system prompts you to enter the rest of the information it needs, including:
Your first and last name
Press 1
Record your name and press 1 again
Press # to confirm the recording
Access your mailbox
- Dial 5555 to access the voice mail system.
- If you are dialing from out of campus dial +90-212-338-1000 first and then 5555
Enter your 4-digit extension and press # to enter your mailbox.
Enter your initial password and press #
Change your voice mailbox password
- Dial into your voice mailbox
- Dial *454
- Enter your new password and press #
Review and manage your voicemail messages
- Dial into your voice mailbox
- Press 2 (“get messages”) to access your messages
- Press 0 to listen
- Press *3 to delete
- Press # to skip a message without deleting
Change Your Name Record
- Dial into your voice mailbox
- Dial *55
- Record your name after the tone
- Press 1 to stop
- Press # to confirm the recording
