Suna Kıraç Library has 8 individual study rooms available for daily checkout. Bookings are limited to current KU Graduate Students.

Suna Kıraç Kütüphanesi’nde günlük ödünç alınabilen 8 ayrı çalışma masası mevcuttur. Rezervasyonlar mevcut KÜ Lisansüstü Öğrencileri ile sınırlıdır.

Features / Özellikler

  • Cell phone use is limited in these rooms; Please make your speeches outside the library or in the telephone booths on the 2nd floor.

  • Food and beverage consumption is not allowed in the rooms, except for water.

  • The fine for an overdue room key is 10 TL per day & the person will be banned for a month.

  • Library materials left in the room unattended will be returned to the “Recently Returned Books” shelf.

  • Do not leave personal belongings unattended in this space. Unattended personal items will be sent to the Lost and Found Office.

  • Anyone who booked a room is expected to clean up after themselves and leave the room ready for the next group.

  • Bu odalarda cep telefonu kullanımı sınırlıdır; konuşmalarınızı lütfen kütüphane dışında ya da 2. katta bulunan telefon kabinlerinde yapınız.

  • Odalarda su haricinde yiyecek ve içecek tüketimi yapılmamaktadır.

  • Oda anahtarının gecikmesi durumunda günlük 10 TL para cezası verilir ve kişi bir ay süreyle rezervasyon yapamaz.

  • Odada bırakılan kütüphane materyalleri “İade Edilen Kitaplar” rafına yerleştirilecektir.

  • Bu alanda kişisel eşyalarınızı bırakmayınız. Kullanım sonrası odada unutulan kişisel eşyalar Kayıp Eşya Ofisine gönderilecektir.

  • Bir oda rezerve eden herkesin kendi temizliğini yapması ve bir sonraki grup için odayı hazır bırakması beklenir.

  • Rooms can be reserved for up to 7 days per month.

  • Reservations for the SKL Individual Graduate Study Rooms should be made 24 hours in advance.

  • After the booking, the responsible librarian will approve the reservation. After the approval or denial, you will receive an e-mail.

  • Odalar ayda 7 güne kadar rezerve edilebilir.

  • SKL Bireysel Lisansüstü Çalışma Odaları için rezervasyonlar 24 saat önceden yapılmalıdır.

  • Rezervasyondan sonra sorumlu kütüphaneci rezervasyonu onaylayacaktır. Onay veya ret sonrasında bir e-posta alacaksınız.

How can I pick up / get it? Nasıl alabilirim?

  • For the approved bookings, the room key can be borrowed from the Information Desk located at the Library entrance.

  • The key may only be checked out by the person who books the room. In addition, the person who books the room has to show KU ID Card to borrow the room key.

  • If a user can not make it, the booking must be canceled in advance.

  • Onaylanan rezervasyonlarda oda anahtarı Kütüphane girişinde bulunan Danışma Masası’ndan ödünç alınabilir.

  • Anahtar sadece odayı rezerve eden kişiye teslim edilebilir. Ayrıca odayı rezerve eden kişinin oda anahtarını ödünç almak için KU Kimlik Kartı göstermesi gerekmektedir.

  • Kullanıcının gelememesi durumunda rezervasyonun önceden iptal edilmesi gerekmektedir.
