Install and configure Pulse Secure VPN client on Ubuntu

  • Download the latest certified version of Pulse Secure installer

64bit

  • Install Pulse Secure client (PulseUI)

Ubuntu 18

$ sudo apt install libcurl4 libnss3-tools
$ sudo dpkg -i pulsesecure_9.1.R12_amd64.deb

Ubuntu 20

$ sudo apt install libnss3-tools
$ sudo dpkg -i pulsesecure_9.1.R12_amd64.deb
  • Open PulseUI from applications.

  • Add Connection by using “+”.

  • Enter a Connection Name and VPN server URL.

  • You can connect to KU Vpn_linux by clicking Connect.

  • Enter your KUNet ID and password. Then, click on Connect button.

  • Confirm the warning message by clicking Ok.

  • You can see connection status by clicking small triangle next to KUvpn(connection name).
