System administrators within Mobile Device Management, don not have a direct access to any information or data on users' devices.

Koç University cannot see your data below.

  • Email messages and text messages

  • Contacts

  • Passwords

  • Calendar

  • Gallery, pictures, videos

  • Applications

Koç University can see the following information.

  • Device model

  • Serial number

  • Operating system version

  • Device name

  • Manufacturer information

  • Business applications

Things to Do Before Getting Involved in the Mobile Device Registration System

Supported web browsers for accessing corporate Office365 (OneDrive, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) web applications based on operating systems within the scope of MDRS are as follows. You can access the necessary configuration links for the relevant operating system and browser from the table below.

Mobile Device Registration System - Android Registration

Prerequisites:

  • 8.0 or above Android version required.

  • Screen lock needs to be set in your device. (Fingerprint scan, Face id, Minimum 4 char Pin)

  • Rooted devices are not supported.

Steps to follow:

  1. Install Intune Company Portal on Google Play Store.

  2. Sign into the application with KUNet ID and password.

  3. Start the setup by clicking on the Begin button.

  4. Continue accepting security policies.

  5. Choose the correct category for the device the application will be installed on.

  6. Access the Ofice365 apps which have been installed on your device.

Mobile Device Registration System - iOS / iPad OS Registration

Prerequisites:

  • 14.0 or above IOS version required.

  • Screen lock needs to be set in your device. (Fingerprint scan, Face id, Minimum 4 char Pin)

  • Rooted devices are not supported.

Steps to follow:

  1. Install Intune Company Portal on App Store.

  2. Sign into the application with KUNet ID and password.

  3. Start the setup by clicking the Begin button.

  4. Continue accepting security policies.

  5. Choose the device category.

  6. Access the Ofice365 apps which have been installed on your device.

Mobile Device Registration System - Windows Registration

Prerequisite:

  • 10 or above Windows versions are required.

Steps to follow:

  1. Install Intune Company Portal on Microsoft Store.

  2. Sign into the application with KUNet ID and password.

  3. After completing the login step give permissions to the app which are required for device management.

  4. Complete the setup by choosing the device category.

Mobile Device Registration System - macOS Registration

Prerequisite:

  • 11.0 or above macOS version required.

Steps to follow:

  1. Click on the Enroll My Mac link on https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-macos-cp web page and download “Company Portal-Installer link on the https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/user-help/enroll-your-device-in-intune-macos-cp web page and download “CompanyPortal-Installer.pkg” and run the software.

  2. Sign into the application with KUNet ID and password.

  3. Continue accepting security policies.

  4. Choose the device category.
