- Log in with your KU accountNetID
- Click on START
- Double click on EXAM SOFTWARE
- A window will appear on your desktop, and you will see prompts for STEP Step 1, STEP Step 2, and STEP3Step3.
- Under STEP Step 1, click on BROWSE Browse and go to \COURSES\UGRADS\COURSE\Exam\
- Select the folder named Course, and click on DOWNLOAD Download
- Under STEP Step 2, enter the password that will be given to you by your TA/Instructor.
- Click on CONTINUE Continue
- A new window will appear on your desktop that shows the contents of the course folder. You will see data files ( S:\” course” ). This is your S:\ drive.

| DO NOT CLOSE THE EXAM SOFTWARE WINDOW UNTIL YOU ARE DONE WITH THE ENTIRE EXAMDo not close the Exam software until you are done with the entire exam. |

| YOU MUST DO ALL YOUR WORK IN THE S:\”COURSE”\ folder. MAKE SURE TO SAVE IN THAT FOLDER FREQUENTLY, IN CASE YOU EXPERIENCE A CRASH. In case of a crash, anything on the desktop or anywhere else, cannot be recovered. Your S:\ drive can be recovered. |
- When you are ready to submit your work, SAVE Save all your files. Exit all programs (Excel, wordWord, spss… SPSS etc.)
- Double check that you have saved everything that you intend to submit.
- Go back to the Exam Software window. Under STEP Step 3, click on UPLOAD Upload. Exam software will upload EVERYTHING that is in your S:\ drive.
- Wait until you see “ "UPLOAD COMLETED” COMLETED" dialog box. Click OK and then you can turn off your computer.
