- Proper Ethernet cable should be plugged into the Data sockets that start with the letter "D---" on the room walls.
- Ethernet cable is provided to offices and lodgings by IT.
- Users need to supply their own cables for dormitory rooms.
- Most of the time once the user plugs the device to the data port he/she can access the Internet without a need to install or configure any software.
- If the port you are using is not active your network connection will fail. You can request the port to be activated by submitting a Trackit.
- Wired network access is limited for the guests.
